In the previous section, we installed and configured the Subversion Server.
On the clientside, what we want is TortoiseSVN in order to talk with the browser.
What is it?
- TortoiseSVN is a Shell Extension.
- Use its RepoBrowser to:
- browse existing projects
- Set up new projects,
- Easily
- Check in/out/update work
- Rename/delete files
- Take snapshots,
- Switch between snapshots,
- Tag safe copies.
- No CommandPrompt typos.
- Adds pretty status icons.
